The Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory storage card designed to meet specific security, capacity, performance needs and cope with extreme weather conditions.

The SanDisk Standard Secure Digital (SD) cards are currently unavailable. However, Hantrex highly recommends the Ultra II Secure Digital cards

The SD card is suited for use in portable digital devises such as cameras, MP3 players, PC's and some mobile phones.

User selectable mechanical write protect switch on the exterior card casing.

Cryptographic security for copyrighted data protection.

Up to 4 times faster than MMC for data transfer and copy rates.

32 millimetres (mm) long, 24 mm wide and 2.1 mm thick.

The SD card is slightly thicker than MMC, so the Secure Digital card will not fit into a MMC device.

Operating shock rating of 2,000Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor.

The SD card is unfazed by drastic weather conditions, from blistering heat to freezing cold

Non-volatile solid-state; no moving parts maximizes battery power. Data is not lost when power is turned off.
